Discussion on Design of the Engine Oil Dipstick
Abstract：The oil level indicator was normally used for measuring the amount of oil in the oil pan, as the oil dipstick have simple structal and lower cost, thus it was widely used on engines. To scale the oil level in oil pan, the dipstick and the oil tube was introduced. In order to guarantee the accuracy indicator, this paper analyzed the influence on oil dipstick scale. Simulation was used before sample calibration. It offered reference for oil dipstick designer.
