Research on Reliability of Piston of Gasoline Engine
Abstract：It is very important to do theoretical and computational researches on durability per- formance of piston ring land. Upon the researches, we optimize the design and propose measures to improve mechanical safety of the ring land. Employing the theory of stress fatigue and the material S -N curve as well as combining the FEA, the paper does researches to the fatigue reliability and safety problems of ring land of silicon aluminum alloy piston.
