Analysis and Prevention for Leakage Defects in Cylinder Block by Induction Melting Technology
Abstract：Defect characters and reasons which cause cylinder block leakage are analyzed in this paper to compositions by dissecting of cylinder block casting. The plan of the processing is modified and implemented, therefore, decreasing the rate of refused products due to leakage and improving the technology which is used to produce cylinder blocks with induction furnace, and reducing the refused castings.
