Energy Consumption and Emission Comparison between EV and Gasoline Vehicle
Abstract：The energy consumption and the emission of an EV and a gasoline vehicle were com- pared based on road conditions in Jinan city. The road conditions in Jinan were developed according to the practical road testing data from the EV and the gasoline vehicle by principal component analy- sis and cluster analysis. The comparison results show that the EV energy consumption is 50% lower than that of the gasoline vehicle beside that its emission is much lower.
