Analysis on Diesel Engine Crankshaft Fracture Failure
Abstract：This paper analyzes the fracture failure of the diesel engine crankshaft during reliability test with the macro and micro - fracture analysis, metallographic inspection, and finite element analysis. The results show that the crankshaft fracture is typically caused by fatigue, which is involved in manufacturing, and that it is necessary to increase the R comer for strength improvement.
