Flow Characteristic Analysis of A New High Inlet Pipe
Abstract：Aiming at the problem of heavy burden of downstream air filter and the simple function of high inlet pipe used on heavy truck, a new high inlet pipe is designed, in which the intake structure is improved, and the function of dust removal and water diversion is strengthened. In order to get the pressure and velocity field, Flow characteristic is analysised base on Fluent. The result in- dicates that flow field distribution is reasonable, that the pressure drop is in the range of the required. The tests indicate that the new designed high inlet pipe improves the life of air filter
