The Feasibility to Achieve the Chinese Phase IV with Electronically Controlled pump and SCR in Small and Medium- power Diesel Engine

Abstract：According to the test bench and the detailed test data of some YZ4DB1 -40 engine, this paper describes the feasibility of the method to reduce particles （ ≤0.02 g / kW. h） by decreasing oil consumption and increasing the maximum explosive pressure （ Max. ignition advance angle ）and to destroy NOx（ ≤3.5 g/kW. h） from exhaust gas using SCR to meet the Chinese Phase IV of emissions regulations.
