The Study of New - Type Combined Single Air Ring for Engine
Abstract：Piston ring is one of key parts of the engine, functioning seal for the engine. At present, gas leakage caused by gas ring opening clearance and vibration of piston rings is one of issues needed to be solved. This paper introduces a new type piston ring. Herein, a single groove structure is used and three -ring stack is assembled into one ring groove. It can effectively solve gas leak due to piston ring gas ring opening clearance, at the same time, reduce the vibration harm because , and improve the engine power, economy and emission.
