Lubrication and Sealing Analysis of Diesel Engine Piston Ring Pack
Abstract：Good sealing and lubrication ensures the piston ring to run stably for a long period On basis of sealing simulation and analysis, a poor lubrication model of piston ring group was established, where a new boundary condition was proposed solve the model. With MATLAB simulation program, the Sealing and poor lubrication analysis of PA6 - 280 diesel piston ring group was completed. It is found that piston ring group is on an unsteady state of mixed lubrication when it is in good sealing. Besides, the lubrication of all rings were greatly affected by oil supply of the leading ring.
