Study on Crankshaft Train Torsional Vibration for 6 In -line Engine
Abstract：Based on excite designer, calculation of crankshaft train torsion vibration for a 6 in -line engine is proceeded. Torsion angular displacement, torque and shear stress are analyzed based on time and frequency domain and. The maximum amplitude of crankshaft free end is 0.5356 degree and the maximum synthesized shear stress is 57.3MPa. The situation of crankshaft train torsion vibration is much strong, so it is necessary to improve methods to reduce torsion vibration.
