The Steady - state Numerical Simulation of Piston Oil - injection Cooling
Abstract：In this paper, three -dimensional numerical calculations of forced oil- injection cooling was conducted using CFD software Fluent, simulating the flow and distribution of the cooling oil in the cooling gallery and the piston inside -wall cavity with different piston locations besides the volume fraction and mass flow of the cooling oil in the cooling gallery. The simulation provides more dependable theoretical evidences for the optimization design of the Cooling Gallery of piston.
