CFD Analysis on the Underhood Heat Management of a Bus
Abstract：The analysis on the heat management system of a bus under design has been proceeded by the CFD simulation software Fluent. The results show that the cooling package of the bus on the calculation condition works in a poor environment. Some air temperature o is above 100°. The main reasons are on recirculation of high temperature air, block of the upper barrier on the air flow and the bad influence of the CAC upper chamber on the radiator. The work environment of the cool- ing package is greatly improved after some structural modifications are made, so the system meets the design demand.
