Abstract:In recent years, infestations of Acantholyda posticalis in Culai Mountain Forest Farm have intensified, resulting in suppressed tree growth. To effectively curb the spread of this pest and safeguard forest resources,UAV aerial control trials were carried out at the farm from 2024 to 2025.The spray mixture consisted of 10%abamectin·diflubenzuron,Tianda 2116,and aerial application adjuvant at a ratio of 100g:10g:10g.Results indicated that this UAV based program achieved excellent control efficacy against Acantholyda posticalis larvae, with population reduction rates of 94.8%in 2024 and 95.7%in 2025,representing outstanding overall control performance across the two?year period.Furthermore,UAV aerial application outperformed conventional manual spraying in operational efficiency, application precision, and cost management.Characterized by high efficiency and accuracy,it shows strong potential for large?scale pest control and provides reliable technical support for scaled?up forest pest management at the farm.
