Abstract:[Objective]In order to explore the application of microbial agents in enhancing the disease resistance and yield-increasing capacity of senescent Prunus pseudocerasus Lindl.,[Method]compound microbial inoculants of varying concentrations were sprayed on Prunus pseudocerasus Lindl.during different growth stages during the senescence period.By observing their yield, fruit quality, tree gum exudation, and fruit cracking,we analyzed the effects of microbial inoculants on increasing yield, improving quality, and enhancing disease resistance of cherries.[Result]Spraying a 150-fold dilution during the budding and pre-flowering stage, spraying a 150-fold dilution during the fruit setting and expansion stage, and spraying a 150-fold dilution during the hard core and color change stage achieved the best results. It was also found that microbial inoculants can significantly enhance the resistance of cherries to gummosis and decay.Compared to the control, the average number of gummosis per cherry tree during the senescence stage decreased by 62.00%,and the average number of decayed cherries per tree decreased by 64.00%.[Conclusion]The results showed that the use of appropriate microbial inoculants could significantly enhance the disease resistance and yield increase of cherries. However, the effects of using inoculants of different concentrations during different growth stages on the disease resistance and yield increase of cherries varied. At the same time, microbial inoculants can significantly enhance the resistance of cherries to gummosis and decay.
