Abstract:[Objective]This study aims to systematically review the evolutionary trajectory and research trends of domestic rural courtyard landscapes, providing theoretical references for the optimization of human settlements under the Rural Revitalization Strategy.[Method]Employing bibliometric methods and the CiteSpace visualization tool,a comprehensive analysis was conducted on 521 core articles published between 2007 and 2025 in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database.Technical approaches included keyword co-occurrence,cluster analysis, and burst term detection.[Result]The findings indicate that research in this field is significantly policy-driven,with its overall development trajectory aligning closely with national rural construction policy milestones, divided into three distinct stages:the germination period(2007-2013),the rapid growth period(2014-2018),and the high-level plateau period(2019-2025).In terms of spatial distribution, while research forces are concentrated in higher education institutions,inter-institutional collaboration networks remain loose.Furthermore,a significant north-south geographical differentiation is observed:southern regions focus more on ecological aesthetics, whereas northern regions prioritize practical functionality.Through keyword cluster analysis, five core research dimensions were identified:rural strategy and spatial planning, landscape ecology and sustainable development, regional culture and village renewal, human settlement optimization and social impact, and design technology and methodology systems.Evolutionary trends reveal a shift in the research paradigm from early singular landscape design practices to systematic studies covering cultural heritage, ecological resilience, and social value assessment, with"regional culture"and"digital technology"emerging as key growth points.[Conclusion]Addressing limitations such as insufficient quantitative analysis and a lack of interdisciplinary integration, this paper proposes that future research should transcend qualitative descriptions, strengthen interdisciplinary theoretical integration, deepen the application of digital technologies like artificial intelligence and big data, construct precise and intelligent evaluation systems, and improve cross-institutional collaborative networks to promote high-quality and systematic development in this field.
