Composition Characteristics and Geographical Distribution Pattern of Key Protected Wild Plants in Shandong Province

Abstract：There are 92 species in 57 families of key protected wild plants in Shandong Province.Among them,12 species are endemic to this province;37 species reach their northern or southern boundary of natural distribution range in Shandong Province.Most species are extremely limit distributed,with clear aggregation in the Eastern Shandong Hilly Region(56 species)and Central and Southern Shandong Mountainous and Hilly Area(42 species),and then Coastal Zone Region(11 species),but sparse distribution in the plains areas of Northern and Northwestern Shandong and Southwestern Shandong,with only 3 and 1 species respectively.Based on the composition characteristics and their geographical distribution patterns,some protection recommendations are put forward.
