Abstract:The intelligent monitoring technology for forest pests and diseases based on artificial intelligence is driving a fundamental transformation in forest protection models. The intelligent monitoring system for target pests builds a"cloud-edge-device"collaborative architecture, relying on lightweight deep learning models and edge computing technology to achieve real-time identification and precise counting of pest images at the device end. This effectively overcomes the strong network dependence and high response delay in traditional monitoring. In practices such as the American white moth monitoring in Dezhou and the"Sky Net"project in Jinan, this system has significantly improved the timeliness and accuracy of pest situation warnings, guided the precise allocation of control resources, greatly reduced the use of chemical pesticides, and achieved a shift from passive disaster relief to active disaster prevention and from experience-based judgment to precise intelligent prevention, providing reliable technical support for the construction of a modern forestry governance system.
