Research on the Internal Causes of Farmers in Southern Ganzhou Participating in Natural Forest Protection Construction

Abstract：Based on the survey and interview data from 243 farmers in southern Ganzhou,this paper examines farmers'willingness to participate in natural forest construction and uses a binary Logistic regression model to analyze the internal drivers of their participation,aiming to explore the key factors that influence farmers'engagement in natural forest construction.Research results show that 84.19%of farmers are willing to participate in natural forests construction.Furthermore,,farmers'education level and their awareness of whether compensation standards for natural forests are reasonable are significantly associated with their willingness to participate,whereas factors such as age and household economic status have no significant impact.This study provides an in-depth analysis of factors influencing farmers'participation in natural forest conservation in southern Jiangxi,offering a theoretical basis and practical insights for formulating more targeted and effective natural forest protection policies to better encourage farmers involvement and promote the sustainable conservation and management of natural forest resources in southern Jiangxi.
