Abstract:Bud dormancy is a crucial physiological mechanism enabling temperate deciduous trees to adapt to seasonal environmental changes, which is regulated by environmental factors such as photoperiod and temperature.Against the backdrop of global climate warming, systematic studies on bud dormancy-regrowth in temperate deciduous trees will facilitate a deeper understanding of the regulatory mechanisms.Based on previous findings, this study synthesizes and summarizes the key factors influencing the bud dormancy cycle, including environmental factors, hormonal changes, metabolic changes, and the molecular regulatory mechanisms of DAM and EBB1 genes. It aims to provide a theoretical foundation for deciphering the regulatory mechanisms of bud dormancy-regrowth in deciduous trees,as well as for advancing dormancy-related molecular breeding efforts.
