Abstract:To explore the effects of light and fertilization on the growth and functional traits of Ormosia hosiei seedings, and provide theoretical support for the integration of high-quality and strong seedlings cultivation and efficient cultivation techniques of O.Three years old O.:hosiei seedings were subjected to a 6-month experiment with varying light conditions(full light,50%light transmittance,30%light transmittance)and fertilization(5 g urea+5 g KH2PO4 per plant,10 g urea+10 g KH2PO4 per plant,no fertilization)The results showed that:(1)Different light and fertilizer treatments had no significant effect on the growth of ground diameter, but under 30%light transmittance, fertilization significantly increased the growth of seedling height;(2)With the increase of shading degree, the number of leaves, stem height and biomass of O.hosiei seedings decreased.Under shading conditions, fertilization increased the number of leaves, stem height and plant biomass of seedings, and the effect was most significant under 30%light transmission, but under full light conditions, fertilization did not significantly promote the plant functional properties;(3)With the increase of shading degree, the chlorophyll content, net photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate and water use efficiency of O.hosiei seedings decreased in varying degrees.Under the conditions of 50%light transmission and full light, the amount of 10g/plant fertilization significantly increased the net photosynthetic rate and transpiration rate of leaves, and also improved the water use efficiency. However, under the conditions of 30%light transmission, fertilization increased the net photosynthetic rate and transpiration rate of leaves, but decreased the water use efficiency. In conclusion,O.hosiei seedings have strong shade tolerance, and 50%light transmission conditions have no significant impact on their growth.Under 30%light transmission conditions, applying 10 g of fertilizer per plant can effectively enhance their ability to resist low light, improve the growth and photosynthetic capacity of young trees.
