Abstract：Forest fuel is regarded as the material base of forest fire,which is considered to be the principal part of forest fire behavior and the forest management.In this study,we reviewed the current research literatures on the forest fuel type,fuel load and equilibrium moisture content,and analyzed the facing questions and development trend of forest fuel in China.
