Enhancing Biodiversity Effectiveness through Urban Greening in County-Level Cities:A Case Study of Tengzhou,China

Abstract：Taking Tengzhou City as a case study,this research comprehensively analyzed the impact of urban greening on biodiversity from both macro and micro perspectives through literature review and field sampling surveys.It clarified the relationship between different green space management strategies/maintenance techniques and species diversity,genetic diversity,and ecosystem diversity.Analysis about urban greening's interaction with these three dimensions of biodiversity revealed a reciprocal relationship:urban greening significantly influences biodiversity levels,while the richness of biodiversity conversely affects the efficacy of greening outcomes and maintenance efforts.Based on these findings,recommendations were proposed for enhancing biodiversity through urban greening renewal initiatives and optimized maintenance practices.
