Abstract:To explore the effects of the irrigation duration of higher mineralized mine water on the growth of Haloxylon ammodendron, the higher salinized mining area in Xukuang coal mining area of Hami,Xinjiang was selected as a study site, carried out an experimental work for irrigation by using higher mineralized irrigation water with the mineralized level of 16 g·L-1,and analyzed the effects of different irrigation duration:6h 8h,and 10h on the growth status, biomass and the development of root system of H.ammodendron.Resuts showed that, when the mineralized level of irrigation water was 16 g·L-1,it's impact on vegetation growth was more effective.Comparing with the responses of two years and three years of H.ammodendron to the irrigation duration, and the growth status, biomass and development of root system of H.ammodendron showed most positive responses when the irrigation duration was 8h(P<0.05),and the overall growth performance of the H.ammodendron and the effectiveness of irrigation duration was showed following order:8h>6h>10h.
