Abstract:Some species of beetles in the Cerambycidae family are important pests in China's forestry. They are characterized by their wide distribution, strong concealment, difficulty in control, and severe damage, posing a significant threat to both forestry ecology and production.Insect information chemicals have the advantages of trace amount, high efficiency and non-pollution,among which the identification of compounds as well as the wide application of trapping techniques in forests have been playing an important role in the integrated management of longhorn beetles. This paper summarizes the research progress on longhorn beetles pheromones and host plant volatiles at home and abroad in recent years, briefly describes the research methodology, and presents individual application examples in China to accelerate the process of research and application of pheromone components of cerambycidae in China.
