Adaptive Response of Two Birch Families in Yantai

Abstract：Combined with the growth and photosynthesis measurements,the adaptability of the two birch families in Yantai city of Shandong Province was evaluated through the analysis of growth indexes and photosynthetic parameters.The results showed that In the later stage of growth,the Heilongjiang family was more able to adapt to the local natural environment conditions and could grow normally during the day,while the Shaanxi family could only grow normally in the morning when the temperature was low and the light was weak.Through the measurement of photosynthesis,the adaptability and growth rate of different families were analyzed,which has reference significance for the introduction and domestication of forest trees.
