Abstract:In recent years, with the intensification of global climate change and anthropogenic activities, forest fires have occured frequently, posing a serious threat to ecological security. As a widely distributed forest type, the combustibility of Quercus forests is directly related to the occurrence, development and ecological consequences of forest fires. An in-depth quantitative analysis of the combustible composition of Quercus forests and their combustion characteristics is essential for the construction of early warning systems for forest fires, accurate prediction of forest fire spreading patterns, formulation of efficient firefighting strategies, planning of scientific forest fires, and implementation of ecological fire prevention measures. These aspects demonstrate practical value and far-reaching significance that can not be ignored. This paper aims to summarize recent domestic and international studies on forest fire early warning systems.Specifically, the purpose of this paper is to summarize the research progress on the combustibility of Quercus forests both domestically and internationally in recent years;to describe the current research on Quercus forests from three main aspects:the factors influencing their combustibility, research methodology, and research content,to analyze the value and shortcomings of the current research;and to explore the future research directions.
