Dynamics Analysis of Adult Semanotus bifasciatus Trapping in the Suburbs of Jinan

Abstract：The correlation between the initial appearance period,peak period,and trapping amount of Semanotus bifasciatus and climate factors in the suburbs of Jinan was studied by setting trap logs to capture adults of S.bifasciatus in different areas of Jinan from 2022 to 2023,based on the trapping effectiveness of the trap logs.The results showed that the first capture of S.bifasciatus adults occurred in late February,and the the peak activity of S.bifasciatus was from March 8th to March 12th.The trapping amount of S.bifasciatus is significantly affected by the daily maximum temperature,with the most suitable temperature for its activity being 12-24℃.
