Abstract:In this paper, the natural elements, perception elements, rest elements and activity elements within environmental settings are taken as important reference points for evaluating the degree of landscape interaction in residential pocket parks. The level of park interaction is objectively assessed using the Entropy Weight-TOPSIS method. The results show that:(1)The overall weight value of activity elements is greater than that of the other three types of elements, with their importance ranked as follows:activity elements>natural elements>rest elements>perception elements;(2)The comprehensive evaluation of the interaction levels of the four types of environmental elements is as follows:activity elements(0.403),natural elements(0.395),rest elements(0.368),perception elements(0.364);(3)Among the 16 landscape index factors, the number and variety of activity facilities, pavement styles, and terrain meandering were rated the highest, while the attractiveness of landscape space, cleanliness of environmental sanitation, and safety of the park were rated the lowest. Therefore,it is necessary to focus on improving the interaction between rest elements and perception elements, enhancing the comfort of the spatial atmosphere, improving the park management system, and promoting the interaction between people and the landscape.
