Performance Evaluation of 6 Mid-maturing Pear Varieties in Guanxian,Shandong Province

Abstract：Taking 6 introduced pear varieties as test materials,the botanical characteristics,fruit traits,characteristics of growth and fruiting,phenological period,and other aspects were investigated,compared and screened.The results showed that'Hongsubao'and'Danxiahong'had low soluble solids and a lighter flavor,and'Ningxia'and'Hongguifei'had an unattractive appearance and a slightly sour taste,which were not suitable for promotion in Guanxian,Shandong Province.After ripening,the flesh of'Wujiuxiang'was soft and soluble,popular with the elderly,which variety could be developed in moderation.The fruit of'Qiuyue'had good economic characteristics and comprehensive evaluation of its internal quality,providing that it is a suitable medium ripening pear variety for cultivation in Guanxian,Shandong Province.
