Karyotype Analysis of Three Varieties of Hemerocallis

Abstract：In this study,three daylily species,'Aisaisi','Moshadezhebian'and'Yujin',were selected and karyotyped using the root tip conventional chromosome pressing technique.The results showed that'Aisaisi'and'Moshadezhebian'were diploid(2n=2x=22=6m+14sm+2st,2n=2x=22=8m+10sm+4s),'Yujin'belonged to tetraploid(2n=2x=44=22m+20sm+2st);the karyotypes of the three varieties were 3B,2B,and 2B respectively and the asymmetry coefficients were all above 60％,66.9％,67.6％and 62.4％.
