Abstract：Biological control is one of the important methods for management of forest insect pests,which is in accordance with the current social requirements for environmental protection as a green prevention and control technology of Matsucoccus matsumurae.We summarized the current status and progress of biological control of M.matsumurae from four aspects,including its sex pheromones,natural enemy resources,entomopathogens,and resistant species breeding in this paper,in order to provide the theoretical reference for environmentally friendly control of M.matsumurae in China.
