Based on the SBE Method to Evaluate the Landscape of 16 Pocket Parks in Linyi Central Urban Aarea

Abstract：Pocket parks are an important part of Linyi recent urban garden construction,and it is clearly pointed out that around 2026,485 pocket parks are planned to be built in the central urban area,and 143 have been completed.From August to October 2022,the staff conducted research on 16 representative pocket parks in the downtown area of Linyi.This paper uses the Scenic Beauty Estimation(SBE)to evaluate the beauty of 16 representative pocket parks in the downtown area of Linyi.The results showed that:(1)16 pocket parks in Linyi had rich plant species,the colors were mainly green,gray and blue,the blue-based road paving was more acceptable to people,the area of pocket parks was relatively free,9 parks had an SBE score of more than 0 points,the landscape effect was better,and the SBE score of 7 parks was below 0 points,and the overall landscape effect was average.(2)Whether they have received landscape architecture education and feel the beauty of the pocket park are generally the same,but there is a large gap in the degree of preference for specific landscape design styles,residents who have not received college education or above prefer the landscape with high color and brightness,and female residents prefer pocket parks with red and more curves.(3)The coordination of plant planting design and the surrounding environment is an important reason affecting the beauty of the pocket park's landscape,and the color of road paving and the later maintenance of garden elements such as plants and sketches also play a crucial role in the beauty of the pocket park,and should be paid attention to in the future design of the pocket park.
