New Opinions about Plants' Water Absorbing Power
Abstract:Osmotic suction in mesophyll cells and osmotic pressure in the root cells are the major driving force for moisture absorption transport. Root pressure is result of water absorption but not power of water absorption. Transpiration is a process of water losing which can't produce a suction power directly, while transpiration pull is a kind of subpressure produced by mes ophyll ceils' osmotic absorption of water in vessel. Absorption and transport of moisture are entirely based on osmotic balance.
