Research Progress of Laccase
Abstract：Laccases are mental--sugar proteins which belong to multi--copper oxidase enzyme family, laccases are widely distributed in animals, plants, fungus and bacteria, especially in fungus and bacterial. Laceases can use molecular oxygen as electron accepter to oxidize aromatic compounds. Laceases also can oxidize some small molecular compounds, which can mediate the further oxidization of macromolecule lignin or high redox potential non--phenolic aromatic compounds. Laccases have biotechnological potential in paper pulp, textile, and food industry, and they also can be used in organic synthesis and bioenergy.
