Effect of Treek Crop Intercroping on The Growth of Walnut Young Plantation
Abstract：Four kinds of different intercropping forestland were studied. The result showed that the effect of different inter- cropping on soil physical character was less, the difference of the soil bulk density, the capillary moisture and the capillary porosity was not significant except for soil porosity~ but greater on the growth of trees, the difference of basal diameter, tree height, the height under first branch and crown diameter was significant, and the difference of branches number, flower bud number and length of branches was very significant. In four kinds of different intercropping forestland, walnut forestlll inter- cropping peanut and sweet potato was best, secondly it was walnut forest ]] intercropping wheat and peanut, walnut forestlV intercropping wheat and corn was poorest. The reason for difference of the growth of trees was that the height of intercrops af- fect the light condition for walnut young plantation.
