Study on the Construction of Soundscape in Chinese Classical Garden
Abstract：In the Chinese classical garden, using sound elements directly or indirectly to construct landscape can be found everywhere. In this paper, we expounded the concept and the composition of the soundscape of Chinese classical garden through traditional poetry, aesthetic theory and the examples of classical garden, and diseussesed the construction method of the soundseape of Chinese classical garden from the landscape design elements level such as the plant, terrain and architecture. According the paper, we expect to provide a worth valuable basis to the modern landscape design.
