The Research on Bacteriostasis of Volatile compounds from five landscape Evergreen trees
Abstract:Antibacterial effects of volatile compounds from leaves of five landscape evergreen trees, were investigated on Bacterias and Fungus. Results showed that all the tested plants exerted antibacterial effects, and the antibacterial rate of five landscape evergreen trees was different between species. The order of effect of five landscape evergreen trees to Bacterias was: Buxus megistoph ylla 〉 P inus Tabuli f ormis〉 Sabina chinensis ( L. ) Ant. var. chinensiscv. Kaizuca 〉 Pinus bungeana Pholinia serrulata ; the order of effect of five landscape evergreen trees to Fungus was:Photinia serrulata 〉 Buxus megistophylla 〉Sabina chinensis ( L. ) Ant. vat. chinensiscv. Kaizuca 〉 P inus bungeana 〉 P inus Tabuli f ormis. Regularly, the antibacterial rate of broken leaves was greater than that of whole leaves of the same quality. The internal antibacterial rate of Pius. tahuliformis and Pinus bungeana was greater than that of other landscape evergreen trees on the side
