The Analysis of the Court blocks in the old district of Qingdao - which is based on the hasic theory of the urban design
Abstract：Court blocks is a specific living form in the old district of Qingdao. In this paper, the author take the Figure and Ground Theory and the Behavior Place Theory which are the basic theories in Contemporary urban design for analysing the space and the open space of the Court blocks. Protecting Space of the Court Blocks is not only in the physical forms but also for the demand of residents, we should improve their quality of life on the base of their behavioral pattern.
