Study on orchard establishing and the series technical measures for Fine Varieties of Walnut（J. regia）
Abstract：In this paper, the establishment of walnut orchard with seedling and related techniques were studied. The results showed that; in establishing walnut orchard, using seedlings in combination with young--plant grafting and proper training and pruning was more cost--effective and desirable than planting grafted seedlings. And the quality of the newly--established orchard was greatly influenced by site condition, moisture--keeping methods of scion, training and pruning of young trees.
