The relationship between commercial circulation industry and urban-rural integration in Shandong Province

Abstract：In order to study the coupling and coordination relationship between commercial circulation industry and urban-rural integration in Shandong Province,an evaluation index system for the commercial circulation industry is constructed from two dimensions:market environment and business scale,and an evaluation index system for urban-rural integration is constructed from three dimensions:economic development,social development,and spatial environment.The index data from Shandong Province from 2012 to 2021 are used as samples to analyze the relationship between the commercial circulation industry and urban-rural integration in Shandong Province.The entropy weight method is combined with the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS)method to calculate the index weight,determine the development index of the two,and use the cointegration test model to verify the cointegration relationship between the two.A comprehensive evaluation index is used to establish a coupling coordination degree model to quantitatively study the coupling coordination relationship between the two.The correlation degree of the two indicators is analyzed through the gray correlation degree model,and the key factors affecting the coupling coordination relationship between the two are determined.The results show that for every 1 unit increase in the level of urban-rural integration,the development index of the commercial circulation industry increases by 0.867 units;from 2012 to 2021,there is a strong coupling relationship between the commercial circulation industry and urban-rural integration in Shandong Province,and the coupling coordination degree has been adjusted from serious imbalance to high-quality coordination;the overall gray correlation between the commercial circulation industry and urban-rural integration in Shandong Province is relatively high.By increasing resource input through policy tilt,financial support and other measures,improving rural infrastructure,improving the development environment of the commercial circulation industry,building an integrated development system of urban and rural commerce,and promoting the benign interaction between the commercial circulation industry and urban-rural integration.
