Application of ANSYS Software to Static Analysis of Gear Pump

Abstract：In this paper, the high speed gear is used as an example to establish the gear model by using ANSYS . Before establishing the gear model , the element type and material parameter are set , and after that , the mesh is divided and the finite element is calculated .Through the analysis of radial deformation of the high-speed rotating gear and the operating pressure of the gear surface based on ANSYS , the weak point of the stress and deformation is determined , which is significant for the design and manufacture of the gear pump .
