Abstract:A series of composite cotton fabrics,(Eu+RhB)-ZnBDC-Ctn,with tunable lumines-cence properties were prepared by employing Zn2+as the metal ion and H2BDC as the ligand. The Zn-BDC layer was deposited layer-by-layer on cotton fabric, and luminescent guests Eu3+and/or Rhoda-mine B(RhB)were further encapsulated. The effects of preparation temperature on the structure, morphology and specific surface area of ZnBDC-Ctn were investigated, and the luminescence proper-ties of(Eu+RhB)-ZnBDC-Ctn were studied in detail. The results indicated that ZnBDC-Ctn achieved the optimal preparation effect at a drying temperature of 100℃.Fluorescence spectra revealed that(Eu+RhB)-ZnBDC-Ctn exhibited distinct photoluminescence from Eu-ZnBDC-Ctn at 321 nm excita-tion,attributed to the overlapping emission peaks of Eu3+and RhB,and the alteration of Eu3+site symmetry within the ZnBDC framework due to RhB introduction. When the RhB concentration was 1.0×10-4 mol/L,(Eu+RhB)-ZnBDC-Ctn exhibited the optimal luminescence property.
