The Analysis of Evolution Characteristics of Modern British Fashion Women's Clothing

Abstract：The British modern era into the Georgian period,the Victorian period,and the Edwardian period were divided in this article,and the popular characteristics of different clothing cul-tures during these three periods were analyzed.The paper pointed that the overall evolution character-istics of British modern women's fashion clothing culture presented a regular development trend from complexity to simplicity,from traditional to modern clothing styles,which laid a solid foundation and played a positive role in the formation and development of modern women's clothing styles.
