Abstract：Through the study and analysis of Yao embroidery patterns on traditional costumes,combined with literature from folklore and sociology,this article analyzed the unique artistic charac-teristics and cultural connotations of Yao embroidery patterns from the aspects of pattern theme,composition,number of stitches,color,etc.This research helped to identify innovative elements from traditional culture,thereby promoting the inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural herit-age in modern design.
