Cultural Gene and Aesthetic Paradigm in the Embroidery Art of Yi Traditional Costumes

Abstract：The traditional embroidery art of Yi ethnic attire serves as a vital carrier and visual rep-resentation of Yi ethnic culture.By analyzing the deep cultural gene and unique aesthetic characteris-tics embedded in its artistic forms,it was revealed that Yi embroidery transcended single decorative function.Its pattern system profoundly encoded and embodied their ethnic core cultural elements such as ethnic identity,ancestor worship,and reverence for nature,serving as a materialized expression of the ethnic group's historical memory and cosmology.Meanwhile,the implicit and explicit aesthetic expressions of embroidery art established the Yi people's ecological ethics and cultural symbol sys-tem,which also presented the intrinsic unity between cultural gene and aesthetic features in Yi em-broidery art,as well as its profound philosophical significance.
