The Evolution and Cultural Identification of Hakka Tiger-head Hat

Abstract:Based on the historical objects of Hakka tiger-head hats,the evolution of Hakka tiger-head hats and the their cultural identification were explored through the analysis of their styles and structures and extraction of colors and decorative patterns,a series of historical relevant literature was also studied.The cultural core of Hakka tiger-head hat derived from the worship of Han tiger culture in Central Plains was pointed.And its display form was also influenced by the culture of the indige-nous ethnic groups in Jiangxi,Fujian and Guangdong.The core cultural value of Hakka tiger-head hat was the Hakka people's worship,effected by the healthy and strong symbol of the tiger,and the rec-ognition and inheritance of the Han tiger culture in the Central Plains.
