Abstract：Through the method of literature research,the evolution process of wedding dress color and the influencing factors that led to the love of red in the Ming Dynasty were analyzed.the root of the popularity of red in Ming Dynasty wedding dresses was excavated.According to the research,the reform of the ruling class system,the prosperity of the economy and the inheritance of red culture constituted the fundamental reasons for the red wedding dress of the Ming Dynasty and gradually formed the image of the red traditional wedding dress.
