Study on Preparation and Properties of Multi-functional Flax/Cotton Blended Fabric with Herbal Medicine

Abstract：The extracts of Scutellaria and Coptis chinensis and tannic acid extracted from plants were used to modify the pretreatment flax/cotton blended fabric,and the flax/cotton blended fabric with antibacterial,mildew and ultraviolet properties of plant traditional Chinese medicine was pre-pared,and the related properties were tested in this paper.The results showed that the antibacterial rates of the modified flax/cotton blended fabric against Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli,and Candida albicans after 0 and 20 washes were 96.50%,98.12%,89.35%,and 93.42%,91.46%,83.37%,respectively.The anti-mold grades were 0 and 1,and the UV protection coefficient UPF values were 51.23 and 41.12,respectively.The modified linen/cotton blended fabric has good anti-bacterial,anti-mold,and anti-UV properties were possessed by.
