A Comparative Study on the Burning Regulations of Children's Pajamas in the United States and Canada

Abstract：The USA Regulation 16 CFR 1615&1616 and Canada regulation SOR 2016-169 and CCPSA guideline were compared in this paper,from the definition of Children's pajamas,the sizes and design requirement,the labeling requirement,the test standard and procedure of flammability.The conclusion shows that Canada is stricter than the USA in the terms of defined scope,product size and design requirements,and the USA is stricter than Canada in the terms of testing process and labe-ling requirements.Exporters should make complete plans at the design stage of the products and meet the corresponding burning regulation requirements at each stage of production.
