Abstract:A hot air through bonded nonwoven material was prepared using hydrophilic polypro-pylene/polyethylene(PP/PE)bicomponent fibers, processed through carding and hot air bonding.Multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs),polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF),and thermoplastic pol-yurethane(TPU)were combined and firmly adhered to the fiber surface, forming a porous photother-mal conversion layer, and composited with the hydrophilic non-woven substrate to become Janus non-woven photothermal material. The test results showed that the material exhibited a light absorption rate exceeding 90%withen the 250 nm~2 500 nm range and could consistently and stably achieve an evaporation rate of 1.23 kg·m-2·h-1 and an evaporation efficiency of 85.2%under simulated sun-light conditions.
